Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Lobbyroo is built so you can play without telling us who you are. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to play.
- We do not store your IP address with your activity.
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your information.
What we store
- A random player ID. When you first play, your browser gets a random ID in a cookie. It keeps your stars, scores, streak and progress together. It is not linked to your identity.
- Your games. Finished rounds and levels (game, score, stars, day), your progress in a game (for example the level or your garden) so you can continue on any device, and the stars you earned.
- Leaderboards. Your scores appear on the leaderboards with the name you chose, or as an anonymous player.
- Where a visit came from: you scanned a poster in a waiting area (which poster), you opened a challenge link from a friend (which game), or, once a day, the site that sent you here (for example a search engine, only its name) and the page you arrived on. This tells us whether posters, challenges and links work.
- How a game went, tied to the random player ID: that you opened a game, made a first move and finished a round, and roughly how long you played. This shows us where a game is unclear or too hard, so we can fix it.
- Your account, if you create one. Your email address, the name and animal you choose, and everything above linked to it. If you continue with Google, Google tells us only your email address and first name; we never see your Google password.
- Feedback you send. Your message, the game it is about and, only if you choose to give it, an email address so we can reply.
- Favorites and settings: the games you starred and choices like sound, so they follow you.
Cookies
We use one cookie for the random player ID and, only if you sign in, a second cookie that keeps you signed in on that browser. Both are needed for the site to work as described and are not used for advertising.
Google Analytics
To learn how people find us (for example from a search or a poster) we use Google Analytics. It tells us which pages were visited, the kind of device and the rough location, not who you are. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it runs without cookies until you choose "OK" in the small bar at the bottom of the page; "No thanks" keeps it that way. Your choice is kept in your browser. You can also opt out with Google's browser add-on.
Classroom mode
Classroom mode is the /class page and the games started from its links. It is made for use at school, including by children under 13. In classroom mode we set no cookies, run no analytics (no Google Analytics, no cookie bar), show no ads, and send nothing to our servers: no player ID, no scores, no leaderboards, no names. Our server only delivers the pages and the games. A game's progress and the timer are kept only in that device's browser storage, and clearing the browser data removes them. Pages outside classroom mode (for example this one) work as described above.
Game portals
Some of our games are also published on game portals such as CrazyGames and Playgama. When you play there, the portal's own privacy policy applies, and the portal may show ads. We do not receive information about you from those portals.
Advertising
There are no ads on Lobbyroo today. If we add ads to keep the games free, we will update this policy first and explain which partners are used, what they collect and how to opt out.
Children
Lobbyroo is a general audience site. Outside classroom mode it is not directed to children under 13; for school use with younger children, use classroom mode, which collects nothing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
Your games and progress are kept so you can come back to them. An account and everything linked to it is kept until you delete it. Feedback is kept until it has been handled.
Your choices
- Clearing your browser data removes your player ID and settings from that device. Progress in an account stays in the account.
- If you have an account, you can delete it yourself at any time on your profile. This deletes the account and every score, star and saved game linked to it.
- You can ask us to delete everything linked to your player ID: send us a note from the same browser.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, delete or correct personal information. Use the same form and we will respond.
Delete your Lobbyroo account
This works the same on the website and in the Lobbyroo app for Android.
- Sign in and open your profile.
- Tap Delete my account at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm. The account is deleted right away.
What is deleted: your email address, your name and animal, and every score, star, level, streak and saved game linked to the account. Nothing is kept afterwards, except feedback messages you sent, which we keep until they are handled.
Can't sign in? Write to hello@lobbyroo.com from the account's email address, or send us a note, and we will delete the account within 30 days. Without an account, you can ask us to delete the data linked to your player ID the same way, from the same browser.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
